Together the pilots are referred to as "Deep Freeze". They were released as a movie on VHS. They introduce the Misfits as they work to save "the Iceman" and prevent a weapon from being used.
Episode 3 - Your Place or Mayan?

The Misfits work to prove a murdered archaeologist's claim that there is Mayan treasure buried beneath Beverly Hills.
The episode opens with a black and white adventure movie set in South America and flips back and forth between the movie and a man dressed in adventurer's clothes running through LA. Each of the near misses in the movie matches one that the man encounters. Some of the pairing are amusing -- a jaguar leaps out of the jungle in the movie, and in real life the man is almost hit by a Jaguar car. Both men are killed in the end and the Misfit's opening starts the episode.

The Misfits' scientist friend claims to have communicated with extraterrestrials, but nobody believes him, not even his embarrassed son.

A primitive native travels about 8000 miles by canoe, possibly from The Philippines, to place a small totem on a rocket.
Episode 6 - Sort of Looking For Gina

Johnny B.'s efforts to meet a young woman lead the Misfits into a deep and complex plot for a museum heist.
Episode 7 - Sonar... Yet So Far

A marine biologist's claim that a dolphin can 'talk' with him makes him the target of drug smugglers looking for a sunken cache of cocaine.
Episode 8 - Steer Crazy
Airdate: 29 November 1985
Three senior citizens gain superhuman strength when they ingest some burgers made from cows eating grass near a meteor. In the chaos that follows, they wind up endangering a nuclear power plant. Although generally played for humor, the episode dealt with the feelings of abandonment and powerlessness that senior citizens face.

Gloria's pen pal is being pursued by unknown assailants -- and by Johnny B.

El poses as an incredibly great basketball player to expose a crooked owner who's throwing games. Since El hates basketball (and is terrible at it), Gloria assists with a little telekinetics.
Episode 15 - Against All Oz

Trying to break a record for staying awake, Billy has a strange dream in which the Misfits all have different jobs -- and personalities. But is it really a dream?
Episode 16 - The Avenging Angel

Gloria unwittingly sets an aspiring wrestler up for a fall when she uses her telekinetic powers to help him overcome thugs selling 'protection'.
Episode 17 - Three Days of the Blender
Airdate: Unaired during the original run, but shown on sci-fi channel.
Billy is mistaken for a spy due to a misdelivered blender that contains a top secret computer chip. Billy is arrested and Stetmeyer gets mixed up in an FBI sting.
